Meet Our Staff
Kaleena, Owner and Lead Dog Trainer (Danvers and Wenham)
Kaleena has been with Wags since 2008, and recently became owner in June of 2022. In addition to graduating from NSCC’s Animal Care Specialist program, she also completed the Dog Trainer program at Gail Fischer’s All Dog’s Gym, has certifications in training from Ian Dunbar’s Training Academy, and a completion in Aggression Dogs Master Course. Kaleena is also a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC). Titan, her first dog, rescued from a local shelter in 2010, recently crossed the rainbow bridge in June of 2022, and will forever be a cherished part of the Wags Family. Kaleena also has a 4 year old GSD, named Akela and 2 adorable children.
Taegon, Manager (Wenham and Danvers)
Taegon joined the Wags pack in August 2018 and was quickly promoted to Manager. She found her true passion for working with animals after growing up with 3 of her families rescue coonhounds and previously working at another daycare. Her dream is to own her own doggie daycare in the future. She has 2 dogs of her own, pictured, Maxxy, an American Bulldog, and Daisy, a Pitbull/ Cattle dog mix.
Vivian, Assistant Manager (Wenham)
Vivian joined us in November of 2023 when she was looking to start her journey in the animal care field, after owning dogs her whole life had fueled her passion. Vivian took her training very seriously and was truly dedicated to learning about dogs, their behavior and body language. After a year and a half of dedication to our pack, she was promoted to Assistant Manager. Vivian currently has a 4-year-old black lab named Nova!
Bria, Assistant Manager (Danvers)
Bria initially joined our pack in 2017 while she started in the Animal Science program at NSCC and she instantly knew working with dogs was where she wanted to be. She grew to be our Assistant Manager and Social Media Coordinator at our Wenham location. When COVID hit, Bria had to relocate but found her way back home to Wags in 2023 when we opened our Danvers location and resumed as the ASM. She grew up with all types of animals in her home but was always attached to her four-legged canine companions. She has two dogs of her own: Shadowmere, a Plott Hound mix and Spice, a Pitty mix (pictured above). Bria hopes to own her own doggie daycare one day!
Hannah, Dog Handler (Wenham)
Hannah joined the Wags pack in March of 2025 after attending almost a full year of school at NSCC, Animal Care Program. Hannah has always had a love for animals and decided to further pursue her passion of working with dogs and has never been happier! Hannah has a sweet 11 year old yellow lab named Barkley who she loves to walk, train, and go lobstering with in her free time.
Ryan, Dog Handler (Wenham)
Ryan joined us in 2015 as an Intern though NSCC’s College and Career Access Program (CCAP). He was offered a Dog Handler position with us after he completed that program in May of 2016. He continues to take classes at NSCC and works with us part time while in school.
Colleen, Dog Handler (Wenham)
Colleen joined our pack in August of 2020. Colleen had worked at several daycares previously, where she really found her passion for working with dogs. She has owned a few different breeds, who she always prides herself on training but currently has an adorable 1 year old Cavalier King Charles named Hobbes who is her world!
